EssenceMediacom among first 67 companies to receive the prestigious IPA People First Promise badge of honour

EssenceMediacom is among the inaugural group of 67 companies to receive the prestigious IPA People First Promise badge of honour for successfully demonstrating our commitment to our people’s mental health and wellbeing.

Launched by IPA President and GroupM UK & EMEA CEO, Josh Krichefski, the People First Promise and accompanying Adland Wellbeing Lab demonstrates the advertising industry’s commitment to putting health and wellbeing at the forefront of businesses and awards agencies with a proven outstanding duty of care to their people in three areas; empower, support and prevent.

The People First Promise badge of honour accredits businesses for two years, with the inaugural award being valid until 2026.

Initiatives highlighted in the EssenceMediacom submission included:

  • Mental health training

  • Mental health allies and mental health ECG

  • Menopause - coaching, lunch and learns, policy and menopause support guide

  • Fertility allies
